The World Cup in Canada: Every Match at BMO Field and BC Place
Canada is hosting 13 matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup across Toronto and Vancouver. Here's the full picture — the venues, the visiting nations, and the dates that matter.
For the first time, Canada is a FIFA World Cup host nation — and the tournament has arrived in two cities. Across June and early July 2026, Canada stages 13 matches of the expanded 48-team World Cup, split between Toronto's BMO Field and Vancouver's BC Place.
Toronto — BMO Field
BMO Field hosts six matches: five group-stage fixtures plus a Round of 32 knockout tie. Beyond Canada's historic opener against Bosnia & Herzegovina, the Toronto schedule features nations including Panama, Senegal, Iraq, Germany and Côte d'Ivoire, bringing world-class football to the lakeshore.
Vancouver — BC Place
BC Place hosts seven matches, including two of Canada's three group games — against Qatar on June 18 and Switzerland on June 24 — as well as a Round of 32 fixture. With its retractable roof and downtown setting, BC Place is one of the marquee venues on the western side of the tournament.
When it's happening
Canadian venues are in action from June 12 through July 2, 2026, taking the country from the group stage into the knockout rounds. Whether you're chasing tickets or watching from a fan festival, it is the biggest sporting event ever staged on Canadian soil.
